Refund Policy
Effective date: September 7, 2025 · Last updated: September 7, 2025
1. Refund Guarantee
We stand behind our product. If you are not satisfied with GREKMF for any reason, you may request a full refund of the amount paid, subject to the eligibility conditions in Section 2 below.
Our refund guarantee is intentionally simple: if you're within the window and within the usage threshold, we refund you — no justification required, no lengthy review process.
2. Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a refund, both of the following conditions must be satisfied at the time your refund request is received:
- Time window: Your refund request must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of your original purchase date. The clock starts at the moment your payment is confirmed, not from when you first log in.
- Usage threshold: You must have accessed fewer than 5% of the total published question bank — currently fewer than 408 questions (out of 8,172 published). A question counts toward this threshold if you submitted an answer or if you opened and viewed it — including viewing its premium explanation. Viewing premium explanations without submitting an answer constitutes the same access to our proprietary content as completing the question; screenshots or copies of explanations represent identical misuse and are tracked accordingly.
The 5% usage threshold is deliberately generous. It is designed to give you ample opportunity to evaluate the quality of our explanations, the skill-tagging system, and the performance analytics — while protecting us from users who access the entire question bank (by answering questions or viewing explanations) and then claim a refund — a form of content piracy that undermines our ability to maintain and expand the platform.
Access that counts toward the threshold includes any question submission and any question or explanation view across all practice series and session types within your subscription workspace. The platform tracks this figure in real time.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with:
- The email address associated with your account;
- Your purchase date (visible in your payment confirmation email from Paddle);
- A brief description of why you'd like a refund (optional, but appreciated).
We will verify eligibility and process the refund within five (5) business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paddle. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the amount to appear in your account.
Upon refund approval, your account access is immediately revoked and all session data associated with the refunded subscription is permanently deleted.
4. Ineligible Refund Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- The 7-day window has passed;
- You have attempted or viewed 5% or more of the question bank (408+ questions);
- Your account has been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service;
- The refund request is for a free trial (free trials have no associated charge);
- The refund request is for an access code that was redeemed as part of an institutional license (institutional refunds are governed by the institution's separate agreement);
- A chargeback has already been filed with your payment provider for the same transaction — filing a chargeback bypasses our refund process and will result in immediate account termination.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating a payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback without first requesting a refund through our process: (a) immediately terminates your account; (b) forfeits eligibility for any future refund from us; and (c) may result in our contesting the chargeback with your payment provider using evidence of your usage and our refund policy.
In virtually all cases, we can resolve legitimate concerns faster than the chargeback process allows.
6. Platform Security and Anti-Piracy
GREKMF operates active technical and legal measures to prevent unauthorized data extraction and content piracy. Violations are detected automatically and may have immediate consequences for your account.
GREKMF's question bank, premium explanations, and skill annotations represent a significant investment of original authorship. We take the protection of this content seriously.
The platform operates a multi-layer anti-scraping and rate-limiting system. Automated requests — including web scrapers, crawlers, bots, browser extensions, or any other non-human access mechanism — are actively detected. The consequences are:
- Initial detection: Requests that exceed our rate limits are temporarily refused until the limit window resets.
- Continued violations: Repeated or automated abuse can lock the current practice session and suspend or terminate the account.
- Account-level abuse: Any account found to be engaged in systematic content extraction — including bulk-viewing or screenshotting premium explanations, sharing session credentials, or circumventing access controls — will be permanently banned with immediate effect. No refund will be issued for accounts terminated due to abuse.
- Legal action: We reserve the right to pursue civil and/or criminal remedies for large-scale content theft, including claims under applicable copyright law and computer fraud statutes.
The 5% usage threshold in our refund policy serves a dual purpose: it gives legitimate users a meaningful evaluation window, and it prevents the abuse scenario where a user systematically views the full question bank and explanations — capturing our proprietary content — and then seeks a refund to obtain it for free.
If you believe your account was flagged in error due to unusual but legitimate activity (e.g., rapidly completing many practice sets in a study sprint), please contact us at [email protected] and we will review your case.
