How this estimate works

This calculator uses the two-section adaptive scoring model documented in ETS's published GRE score interpretation materials. The GRE routes test-takers to an easier or harder Section 2 based on Section 1 performance. Your final scaled score (130–170 per section) depends on both the number of correct answers and the difficulty level of Section 2 you were routed into.

Section sizes used: Section 1 has 12 questions; Section 2 has 15 questions. These match the structure used in KMF full-test series.

Percentile source: Percentile ranks are based on ETS’s 2026–27 GRE score interpretation data (updated annually). Percentiles reflect the percentage of GRE test-takers who scored lower than a given scaled score over a rolling reporting period. Percentile ranks can change as the test-taking population shifts.

These scores are estimates only. Actual GRE scores are determined by ETS and depend on the specific adaptive questions delivered on test day. Use these estimates as a planning tool, not as a prediction of your official score.
