60-Day GRE KMF Study Plan: Complete 2-Month Schedule (4h & 6h)

A two-month GRE plan gives you enough runway to combine repetition with real correction. This guide includes a 4-hour steady track and a 6-hour intensive track. Both complete all 37 KMF Quant pairs, all 24 24Set tests, 32 Vocab Mountain groups, standalone RC/TC/SE work, and two official mocks. The intensive route also adds 20 full 60Set tests.

Your 60-day progression

• Days 1–32: build the KMF Quant sequence and complete 32 new vocabulary groups.
• Days 33–38: finish KMF Quant and transition into more 24Set work; vocabulary becomes review-only.
• Days 39–57: complete the remaining full-test work and increase TC/SE volume.
• Days 58–59: take PP1 and PP2, then diagnose patterns.
• Day 60: conduct final light review and rest.

How to read the schedule

• KMF Quant means one paired Base test (12 questions in 21 minutes) plus Hard test (15 questions in 26 minutes): 47 minutes of timed solving per pair.
• 24Set / 60Set means one full 54-question test: 12Q Quant (21 min), 12Q Verbal (18 min), 15Q Quant (26 min), and 15Q Verbal (23 min). That is 88 minutes of timed Quant/Verbal practice, before breaks or essay work.
• ETS PP1/PP2 means a full official GRE mock of about 1 hour 58 minutes, including analytical writing in the current GRE format. Take it uninterrupted, then review it.
• RC/TC/SE entries are standalone bank sets, not full 18- or 23-minute Verbal sections. Adjust their time to the actual item count and passage length.
• Vocab Mountain receives exactly 30 minutes daily during the new-group phase, including cumulative review. “Old vocabulary revision” later in the plan stays inside the daily cap.
• Arrows separate the day’s components; they do not force a particular order.

The review system that makes this plan work

Completion is not the same as mastery. After each timed block, read the relevant explanations, record why each miss happened, and re-solve important misses without looking at the answer. Tag errors by cause—concept gap, setup, careless arithmetic, vocabulary, passage logic, or time pressure—then use the remaining daily time on the most repeated causes.

If a day becomes too heavy, protect review quality first. Remove optional extra drills or a 60Set before rushing through explanations. These schedules are targets, not guarantees.

Pick the right two-month track

The 4-hour plan is the safer default for students balancing work or classes. The 6-hour plan is for a dedicated study period and adds 20 60Set tests. On overlap days, keep standalone verbal timing flexible so explanations and re-solving still fit inside the cap.

Track A: 4 hours/day

60 days × 4 hours = 240 hours. Finish 37 KMF Quant paired sets, 24 full 24Set tests, 0 full 60Set tests, and 32 Vocab Mountain groups. On non-mock days, perform the standalone RC/TC/SE counts specified in each day below; spend the rest of the daily budget on explanations, cumulative error-log review, and targeted practice.

Track B: 6 hours/day, with 60Set

60 days × 6 hours = 360 hours. Finish 37 KMF Quant paired sets, 24 full 24Set tests, 20 full 60Set tests, and 32 Vocab Mountain groups. On non-mock days, perform the standalone RC/TC/SE counts specified in each day below; spend the rest of the daily budget on explanations, cumulative error-log review, and targeted practice.

Weekly execution rules

1. Begin timed work only after deciding the stop time and test order.
2. Keep one error log for Quant and one for Verbal; revisit recurring errors every few days.
3. Count a set as complete only after its important mistakes have been reviewed and re-solved.
4. Use mock results to adjust the final stretch, not to chase random new material.
5. On the last day, keep review light and prioritize sleep, calm, and logistics.
